As some of you may or may not know, we have recently renovated and expanded our South Melbourne Market shop within the SO:ME Space area. We’ve taken on the shop next door and created a larger shop that now has mini departments; The Bedroom, The Kitchen, The Library and Weddings & Events. We have so much new product, so make sure you come and check it out.

We are now staying permanently in this location as a way of keeping our brand accessible imbetween pop up’s we run elsewhere. Plus, we’re always online if you need us in a hurry!

Thanks to our builders, our lovely, patient staff and families for supporting us whilst we renovated as well as the South Melbourne Market for allowing us to make these changes.

So our next location is with the indie design and craft crew, The Finders Keepers in Melbourne this coming weekend.

We’ve collaborated with The Finders Keepers Market a few times now during 2012 in both of the Melbourne Markets and both of the Sydney Markets.

This time around, we’re back with a very special feature stall where we’re bringing a huge emporium style shop to the market. We’ve spent some time getting creative and thinking about the best way to make our emporium look extra SuperCool!

It’s 2013 and TheSuperCool had a break by holidaying/sourcing new product in Mexico, Cuba and America. (more of those goodies to follow)

So to kick off the new year, we have returned to our favourite market – The Peoples Market! We loved it in December and now we’re back for another 6 weeks (pretty much to enjoy the rest of Summer’s fine weather!)

This time around, we changed up the look and feel of our shipping container style (goodbye to our beloved electrical tape wall and hello to our vintage book pages wallpaper!)

With our version of the shipping container shop 2.0 we have new opening hours as well.

Saturday & Sunday – 12pm to 5pm

We’ve got loads of new stock and there’s new food, drinks and fun to be had from the rest of The Peoples Market as well.

PEOPLES MARKET COLLINGWOOD - 

We have closed our shipping container shop until February 7 2013, however The Peoples Market is still open and will have other great food, entertainment and shopping options until we return as well!

We are beyond pumped to announce our next location for TheSuperCool mobile emporium…… It’s called The People’s Market and its 2nd incarnation (previously it was at the Docklands) is in Stanley Street Carpark in Collingwood.

Imagine a carpark repurposed as an urban market with shipping containers rejigged for food vendors, an outdoor bar, an urban art gallery, cafes, retail and pop up markets…. well The Peoples Market is this dream cum reality!

We have been big fans of what The Peoples Market achieved in the Docklands and were super excited to be involved in this new version in Collingwood. We’re taking over a retail shipping container for 2 months – 1st up…. December 1 (the date the whole market launches) till Christmas. The next month will be February.

And we’re in great company – Movida are doing a bakery next door to us, Touche Hombre is providing the mexican fiesta, Padre’s are doing the coffee, Ghost Patrol is doing a pop up exhibition in COMA (container of modern art), Acclaim magazine are doing a retail container next to us and so is The Melbourne Paper Pop Up featuring Able & Game, Write to Me and Record Attempts…. so its going to be pretty sweet.

We’ve doing some cool stuff to our shipping container to make it resemble a SUPERCOOL shop rather than a shipping container and we’re super psyched about launching it and showing you all around….

So come say hi, have a drink, have some food, check out the gallery, have a coffee, grab some xmas presents and enjoy!
