Medium KuuKuu baskets are great for medium grocery shops, fresh produce, picnics, BBQs, and beach days. They are extremely strong and durable, and can hold up to 15kg.

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven in a remote village in Myanmar, from new pallet strapping made from recycled plastics. Plastics are collected by locals from streets and beaches, recycled into pellets, then made into rolls of new strapping.

KuuKuu style uses bamboo in the base, purchased from local farmers.

The traditional Burmese weaving techniques have been passed down through generations. Every basket sold enables our ongoing support of the artisans, village families and local Burmese communities.
