What is TheSuperCool?

A mobile emporium that goes to the people, with an eclectic mix of everyday objects from around the globe, THESUPERCOOL is launching this November, just in time for Christmas.

THESUPERCOOL is a project run by the team behind iSpyStyle.  Through their own retail trend analysis for clients and international trend agencies WGSN and The Coolhunter, iSpyStyle realised there was an opportunity to create a mobile retail experience; pop-up shops 2.0 – where the pop up keeps on moving to new locations. “We were fascinated with the concept of vintage peddlers who were the original mobile retailers; taking their wares to wherever the people were. This idea of creating a temporary shop for locals resonated with us given the state of the current retail environment.”

THESUPERCOOL will sell stationery, design books, posters, kids toys, homewares, gifts and vintage collectables among other items. Following trends influenced by fashion, pop culture and the creative industries, THESUPERCOOL has hand selected everyday objects from local and international artists to bring a unique edit.

It offers a sensory experience you can’t achieve by shopping online. With a background in visual merchandising and styling, co-founder Kate Vandermeer will be ensuring that each space caters to the local customers and is excited about offering inspirational and engaging shopping experiences.
