We are EXTREMELY excited to announce our next location/collaboration - and it's the magic number 10 destination for our mobile emporium!

Call it serendipity or fate or whatever but we feel we were drawn to work with Westfield Doncaster . Back in January when we were thinking about where we'd love to take our mobile emporium during 2012, Westfield Doncaster was high on our wish list - as far as merging foot traffic and a luxurious shopping centre experience, we felt this was the right fit for our brand of retail. Then, some months later, we ran into David who bought something from us at our SO:ME Space pop up and happened to chat to us about how much he liked our concept and then he explained how he worked within the Westfield BrandSpace area.

After a few site visits and some chats with David & the Westfield team, we are now proud to be launching Monday 10 September! We are literally popping up in the middle of the shopping centre which has meant we've had to think creatively about not using walls, not being able to hang/ suspend anything and to somehow provide an inclusive, intimate shopping experience whilst still allowing customers walking by a glimpse into our shop.... not that easy.... but we've come up with what we think is a SUPERCOOL and exciting solution and we're really excited about showing you all the photo's or better still, letting you come on down and experience it for yourselves.

The details....

Dates: We launch Monday 10 September and finish up on Sunday 7 October - 1 whole month of 7 days a week retail (our feet are already feeling sore!)

Store Hours:  Monday - Wednesday - 9am to 5:30pm Thursday - Friday - 9am to 9pm Saturday - 9am to 6pm Sunday - 10am to 5pm

Where are we? We are in the middle of the walkway aisle at Ground Floor imbetween the Myer & David Jones passage – opposite the Blue Carpark entrance in the aisle on your way to Target (near Sussan’s). See the map above and take a snap with your phone so you can find us.

These are the photo's from our pop up shop at Middle Fish in Carlton. During our week long stay, we ate our way through the menu, met lots of lovely locals in the area and enjoyed getting to know the Middle Fish team. Stay tuned for our next pop up announcement for September!

We're excited to announce our next collaboration in August with Middle Fish restaurant in Carlton. We've been big fans of the inspirational interior (the right mix of industrial vintage warehouse vibe with warm and inviting accents not to mention the food......yummmmmm). We got togethor with Middle Fish and discussed what we could collaborate on...the result?

A weekend event inspired by the thai street markets. Of course! There's 2 parts to this collaboration.

1. The weekend market - Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August from 10am to 4pm. There'll be street food, cooking demo's and entertainment from Middle Fish and we'll be setting up our mobile emporium within their restaurant and we'll be bringing our vintage spinning wheel to offer prizes from TheSuperCool and Middle Fish.

2. The Pop Up Shop - We'll be visiting Middle Fish with our mobile wares from Friday 10 August (the day before the market) up until Sunday 19 August (the following weekend after the market). We figured we'd stay a bit longer to sample their menu and provide some SuperCool goodness to the folks from Carlton and North Melbourne.

So make sure you come by and say hi.. .we've got lots new stock and Middle Fish will be pulling out the big guns with their food! Shopping & Food... what more could you want?

So if you thought that the fact we opened up a new semi-permanent shop at SO:ME Space would slow down our mobile shops... you would be mistaken! We've got some pretty exciting collaborations coming up for the remainder of the year. We plan to have 1 exciting mobile shop per month alongside selling online and our new semi-permanent shop. So there's plenty of ways for you to get yourself SuperCooled!

Melbourne Design Market

We'll be featuring all our usual SuperCool goodies at this iconic market in the Fed Square car park - but we'll also be offering some really big BARGAINS with some of our stock being reduced heavily to make way for new stock! Yay! So make sure you come and say hi, check out our mobile shop and the other fab designers featured at this great market.
